| On April 17th at Trinity Methodist Church, Powell Street, Castleford, the society presents another of their ever popular spring concerts. This spring cavalcade of the works of Gilbert & Sullivan will include many of the duo’s well loved songs with a selection taken from the 14 operettas they wrote together. One of the shows included is sure to be Iolanthe, the group’s choice for their October 2010 production. This tale of fairies and MPs has all the twists and turns of a G&S operetta, as well as some memorable music. The show is at Pontefract Town Hall from 6th - 9th October. |
